Branch ManagerKathy first worked for WSECU about 30 years ago, logging three years for us before moving on to various other credit unions (and even a few banks). It wasn't until two-and-half years ago that she decided to come back for seconds, making her what we affectionately call a "re-tread." Though she never planned on a career in financial institutions, once she got started she found she really enjoyed it. She's tried her hand at commercial lending, real estate lending, consumer lending, real estate foreclosures and a lot of operational ventures - but finally her "brain waves steadied" and she found her way back to WSECU. There isn't enough space (or exclamation marks) for her to express how much she loves WSECU's members and staff. She finds it extremely rewarding here, especially since helping the community is one of her top priorities. Her hobbies are varied. First and foremost comes her family - her grandkids are everything to her. She's also a horse lover (she started riding when she was 5). With three generations of WSU graduates in the family, she naturally loves the Cougs. And any time in the mountains is her idea of heaven. Be warned: she makes a mean batch of Cheese Cheerios - but it's from a secret family recipe, so we aren't allowed to ask how she makes it. Oh well...maybe she'll share some one of these days.
